Mohammad Reza Safa announced the establishment of two-way communication between economic activists of Hormozgan province and Indian businessmen with the favorable promise of the Indian Consul in Bandar Abbas.
According to the public relations of the Bandar Abbas Chamber of Commerce, Mohammad Reza Safa, in a meeting with the Indian consulate in Bandar Abbas, said: Hormozgan province, with its sea, rail, road and air transportation network, has a high potential for expanding trade relations with India. .
Referring to the development capacities of trade relations between Hormozgan and India, he said: Hormozgan has several capacities to expand trade relations with India and we hope to see an increase in our province’s trade interactions with India by establishing relations between Hormozgan and Indian businessmen.
Safa continued: “Due to the high antiquity of culture as well as the historical and ancient relations between Iran and India, these two nations have good cultural and historical relations with each other.”
The head of Bandar Abbas Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture stated: Hormozgan province has a great ability and capacity to strengthen the relations between Iran and India.
Safa also praised the efforts of Shaaban, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bandar Abbas, for his round-the-clock efforts to support and assist in connecting the Bandar Abbas Chamber of Commerce to the target countries.
The profiteers of the Indian consulate in Bandar Abbas also stated in this meeting that India and Hormozgan province have a good relationship with each other, adding: “We can establish their relationship with Indian businessmen by providing the information needed by Hormozgan businessmen.”
He said: “India has the highest economic growth and the industrial cycle of this country is being completed, and due to the proximity of the sea route between Iran and this country, traders can make the most of the existing capacities in this country.”
The Indian Consul said: “India is in great need of mineral products such as gypsum powder, calcium carbonate, marine products and aquatic products, and in the field of agricultural chemical fertilizers, this country is one of the most consumed countries due to its extensive activities in its vast potential fields.” And therefore it needs Iranian products in this field.
He said: India is the largest buyer of Iranian date customers and continuously imports a significant amount of dates from Iran to its country every year and with an annual import of 500,000 tons of dates is one of the major importers of this product in the world.
The Indian Consul in Bandar Abbas said: “We hope to be able to bring India’s trade relations with Hormozgan province to an acceptable level with the help of the Bandar Abbas Chamber of Commerce.”
